Absolutely...your boat or car donation can go a long way...as a 501c3, you can take the full taxable donation for your gift!
It is not necessary to clean your items. If possible, please put your items in a plastic garbage bag before dropping them.
If your items smell like used sports equipment, chances are it is a testament to the use that went into them and you should look at that as a badge of honor. We can disinfect and deodorize any piece of equipment as needed.
Absolutely...we have a great partnership with a bike shop that teaches Metro-Atlanta adolescents how to repair and maintain bikes. After a prerequisite number of hours working in the shop, they can earn their own bike!!
Please send an email to [email protected] and tell us about your organization. Include the items you are looking for with estimates on sizes and quantities needed. We are most interested in partnering with organizations that support in-need and at-risk adolescents.

Absolutely! The overwhelming percentage of our cash donations go directly to fund our Shepherd Center Adolescent Recreational Rehabilitation Foundation which helps severely injured adolescents undertake activities that would otherwise not be covered by insurance. These activities facilitate further rehabilitation outside of the hospital and include trips to museums, aquariums, field trips, and transportation.

Yes, Play It Forward Foundations was started by Reyn Owen when he was 14 years old. Reyn saw a need and came up with a realistic solution that hinged on volunteerism and a shared desire to give back to the community. While Play It Forward was founded by a 14 year old, its success is largely attributed to the support of the generous donors and advisers that have made the project into what it is today!
